ROBERT PACKARD has served with the Human Service Agency for over 20 years.  He is solution focused, with expertise in most areas - individual and couples therapy and clients coping with depression, anxiety, panic, and PTSD. He also conducts psychological evaluation and testing for many purposes, with children, teens, adults and seniors.  Dr. Packard has long been the face of the Human Service Agency and has entertained staff with stories of his vacations to multiple exotic places.  To schedule an appointment or get more information on a specific situation, call 605-886-0123.

Education:  Ph.D., Psychology, University of Minnesota

Background/Experience:  Over 30 years experience as a psychologist, 20+ years in Watertown at HSA

Professional Interests/Specialties:  Dr. Packard provides various therapy approaches (cognitive, behavioral, social, ACT, relaxation/self-hypnosis) depending on the individual person and the needs: depression, anxiety and stress, fears, anger control, child behavior problems, ADHD, PTSD, marital discord, custody and visitation disputes. He provides testing for IQ, personality disorders, memory, and competency when needed for more thorough assessment or as requested by vocational services, courts and attorneys.
