HFHGWR has two programs available for eligible famiies. The Home Ownership program works with families to build/own a simple, decent house. The Home Repair program works with homeowners to repair their homes. Both programs provide a hand up, not a hand out, through no interest loans for the value of the repair. WHA provides rental assistance to income eligible people such as elderly/disabled, abuse victims with family, working families, non-working families and students with families. WHA also administers a 60 unit (income based) HiRise for the elderly and disabled and 25 houses throughout Watertown for income eligible families.
