Main Site Programming - Provides program services in the areas of physical wellness, education, art, and character and leadership development to youth in grades 1 - 12. The annual membership fee of $25 a year includes snacks and meals. Kidscope - is a state licensed, out-of-school time, activities program, which provides quality care to children in Kindergarten through 6th grade. Kidscope is located at Roosevelt, Lincoln, and Jefferson Elementary Schools during the school year. There is also one Kidscope site in the summer months. Child Protection Services receives and assesses reports of child abuse/neglect. If a child is found to be unsafe in the parent's home, CPS works with the family on a plan to ensure the child's safety.

Provides in-home services to low income, elderly, and disabled individuals. Services available are homemaker, personal care (bathing assistance), nursing, medical supplies, and nutritional supplements. The individuals are assessed to determine the services needed. Long Term Services and Supports is also a referral agency for community resources. The Ombudsman program provides advocacy services for individuals in assisted-living nursing facilities.

Works within the Unified Judicial System for the State of South Dakota. The client base is derived through formal court proceedings as well as diversion programs referred through the local State's Attorney. Court Services' role is to monitor the compliance of all conditions set down by the Court in alleged juvenile delinquent matters and Child in Need of Supervision matters.

Family Assistance Centers provide a focal point of information thorough six essential services. Family Assistance Centers are critical in providing help to all military. This hold especially true for geographically dispersed families who are unable to access services at local base, installation or fort. In other fords, Family Assistance personnel are the "Easy Button" for assistance and referral for service members and their families.

The goal of the SDNG Child & Youth Program is to support the social, emotional, and academic needs of military children and youth throughout the state. This is done through developing and implementing programs and activities that promote leadership and character development, build confidence, facilitate connection between other youth and help them to better understand their role as a military child. The child and Youth Program also provides resources and information to youth, their families, and communities, and partners with other local and national organizations serving youth as well.

This program is designed for adults whose problems stem from substance abuse. As an individual enters this program, he or she must be motivated to work toward changing their lifestyle and becoming free of alcohol and chemical addiction. This program is accessible regardless of age, religion, sex, ethnic origin, sexual preference, marital status, or physical and/or mental disability. It is a court-managed, alcohol/drug intervention treatment program, designed to provide a cost-effective alternative to traditional criminal case processing.

Youth/Family: We offer annual summer camps for chidlren and families. Please call for more information. Our Ignite Youth Programs begin in September and are offered every Wednesday for boys and girls ages 4-18: Music Academy at 5pm, Dinner Served at 5:45pm, and Character Building at 6:15pm. . Rides can be provided. Family: We offer a NO COST, intensive case management support program to assist families with children in becoming more self-sufficient, as well as connecting them to local resources. The program is called Pathway of Hope. Please contact our case manager, Shannon, to discuss program interest and eligibility. There must be at least one child under the age of 18 within the household to qualify.
